Enchantment Resort is situated among the spectacular red rocks and cedar forests of Boynton Canyon, just outside of Sedona, Arizona. The spectacular vistas, clear blue skies, and mild year-around temperatures will bring you back again and again.
The community of Sedona is located two hours north of Phoenix and two and one half hours south of the Grand Canyon. At an elevation of 4500 feet, Sedona enjoys moderate weather year round and is known worldwide for its red rock beauty. In the heart of central Arizona, Sedona offers the rugged grandeur of the southwestern landscape with quaint shops, distinguished galleries, world-class 18-hole golf courses and guided tours of the region. Enchantment Resort is situated 5 miles from Sedona in Boynton Canyon surrounded by the Coconino National Forest. The area is revered by the Apache as the birthplace of their tribe and holds ancient ruins of Native American cliff dwellings.
Enchantment Resort showcases the Southwest inspired cuisine of Chef Paul McCabe, who has won international respect for his ability to create dishes with intriguing depths of flavor. Chef McCabe and his staff use local, regional and traditional ingredients to create memorable signature dishes.
For those wanting a fine dining experience, the Yavapai Restaurant, is graced by a Randy Hedden mural and elegant Southwest interiors. It overlooks breathtaking Boynton Canyon through massive windows providing a 180-degree view. A breakfast buffet is served daily with a Jazz Brunch on Sundays.
Tii Gavo is a second restaurant at Enchantment Resort that provides a more relaxed atmosphere with casual entertainment on weekends. Guests can also dine on outdoor terraces, in the privacy of their own guest rooms, or poolside in summer months.
Enchantment Resort offers a wide variety of activities. Guests can enjoy nature walks, yoga, and T'ai Chi with weight training and aerobics. There is hiking, tennis, swimming, mountain bike rentals, championship croquet, bocce ball, table tennis, pitch & putt golf course, putting green and stargazing. Kids between the ages of 4-12 will love Camp Coyote, with lots of arts & crafts and exciting activities.
Rangers from the US Forest Service are based at Enchantment in a cooperative environmental preservation and education program. Guests can ask questions of the rangers and participate in special presentations. Uqualla is Enchantment's Native American Cultural Ambassador and he helps guests to understand the cultural significance of Boynton Canyon through storytelling and other activities. Enchantment Resort has a concierge desk to assist guests in exploring the variety of guided tours that are available.
Accommodations
Our Adobe Casitas, Haciendas and Guest Rooms are set against towering red rocks, among juniper and pine trees. You'll find all the comforts of home, decorated in a Southwest theme, with private decks viewing Boynton Canyon.
Enchantment Resort's versatile guest rooms, studios and parlors can be enjoyed separately or joined to create one or two bedroom Casitas or Haciendas.
Casita Guest Rooms have one king or two queen beds, sitting area, full bath and an outdoor deck.
Casita Studios provide 600 square feet of living area with a fireplace, queen pull down bed, full bath, kitchenette with dining area for four, and a gas grill to accommodate outdoor dining on the deck.
Hacienda Studios increase living area to 1400 square feet with two-queen pull down beds, full kitchen and dining space for six.
Casita Parlors Junior Suites feature a luxurious bedroom attached to a living area with a fireplace and an outdoor deck. Relaxation is celebrated in a separate garden tub in the oversized bathroom
The layout shows a Two Bedroom Adobe Casita, which also makes up the 600 sq ft Casita Studio (center) and two adjoining Casita Guest Rooms. The Casita may be rented in entirety as shown, or as a One Bedroom Adobe Casita Suite, or each room individually. The Deluxe Hacienda Studio is 1400 sq ft, with a large living room, beehive fireplace, 2 oversized queen beds, full kitchen and dining room and three viewing decks.
