There are 3 restaurants: the buffet-style "Ambar", "Mexico Lindo" serving Mexican cuisine and the "Coral" Steak House. The 3 bars -"Carey Tropical", "Coco" and "Cuca" offer a wide range of exotic cocktails and tropical drinks. And you'll hear Merengue music to compliment the true atmosphere of this original retreat. There is one pool facing the pool with a children's pool, and lots of activity during the day.
The great asset to this Resort is the location and that it all flows along the beach, with the Caribbean Sea in vibrant turquoise and cascading palms as a dreamlike setting. Guests also have access to the rest of the facilities in the resort complex, including 11 restaurants or grills, 13 bars, 3 theaters, "Tropicalísimo" Show night and 3 discos and a huge casino. The Barcelo Bavaro Beach & Caribe Resort features open air lobby spaces with wooden beams and huge performance stages. Rooms are contained in multi-colored 3-4 story buildings, each air-conditioned room has a hair dryer, room safe, and balcony or patio.
