The Bavaro Princess is extraordinary in size, with over 96 acres of endless landscape, some of it is tamed, , some of it is wild. Fanned -shaped palms, wandering peacocks flaunting their plumage, flowering trees, trails through mangroves, jungle with lagoons and natural springs, only begin to describe the abundance, of nature's beauty.
The main pool is so large, that an aerial view at close range can hardly depict the swimmers! Islands within the pool flourish with towering bamboo and a shallow end which spills without an edge like a lagoon, is perfect for children. The big bonus is the beach. It is magnificent, with miles of white sand, graced by hundreds of coconut palms.
Dining: There are many dining options, but most striking is the Chopin Restaurant,which has it's own magical setting, carved within the jungle over a lagoon buried in tropical foliage. At night, the vines, elephant leaves, feathering palms and mangroves are lit up by flood lights. A small boat with a pianist appears, seranading those dining by candlelight, with romantic music. The Hispaniola is the main restaurant with a capacity of 500 seats, and offers large buffets with show cooking and five theme nights. Casual attire is certainly acceptable. Italian Restaurant " Bella Pasta" while a la carte at night also serves snacks during the day time and also pizzas 24 hours, around the clock. El Pescador serves free seafood a la carte and is opening in the evenings. Gaucho Restaurant specializes in Argentinean meats in the evening and by day serves Continental breakfast for the late risers and lunch in a beautiful. location fronting the Caribbean. The newest addition to a la carte restaurants is Sakura which is Asian, and offers a mix of Vietnamese, Chinese and other interesting dishes in a Pagoda-style structure set on a lagoon. (next to Chopin) Licey Gourmet is elegant dining and requires more dress-up attire. The menu offers international selections such as lobster and fine-cuts . There is a separate section for honeymooners with fancier decor and the entire room faces a small lake. Note: This is not included in the all-inclusive package, but may be purchased for a $25 surcharge per person which entitles one to any selection from the menu with drinks included.
Accommodations: Newly renovated, 2 step split level suites offer one king bed or two twin beds, living area with couch and mini-bar with water, soft drinks, beer replenished daily. Coffee-maker, iron with ironing board, complimentary use of safety deposit box, ceiling fan and air-conditioning, satellite TV, full bathroom with hair-dryer, balcony or patio. 768 suites, 686 suites within 86 bungalows and 82 suites in one building. Half of the inventory have king beds.
The Bavaro Princess All Suite Resort Punta Cana is nestled within 92 acres of lush gardens and natural rainforest. Rainforest with pathways for strolling and about 64 different species of animals in a mini-zoo running freely throughout the premises, including tropical birds and peacocks.
There is live music with regular shows, supervised children?s activities, 2 pools, and 4 floodlit tennis courts.Also available are a mini zoo, shooting gallery, health center, shopping gallery, jewellers, foreign exchange, and laundry service.
