Catalonia Bavaro Resort
An all suite resort offers updated and spacious accommodations in 30 three-story villas, with 24 junior suites in each, through acres of natural gardens. The pool is a lagoon size, like an oasis with little Islands of flourishing palms within the pool and an inner Jacuzzi. A long white beach enshrouded with coconut trees and sunshelters of thatched palapas, is beautifully facing the Caribbean sea. Brightly colored sails of windsurfers and catamarans can be seen against a cloudless sky. A heavenly location for relaxation or water-sports activity.
A nine hole golf course is adjacent, as part of the resort, for the casual game. It is anticipated that this course will evolve into a 27 hole course by year 2005.
Six dining choices include the Main Caribe restaurant for buffet and theme restaurants, Japanese-Mikado, French -La Parisienne, Italian -La Gondola, TexMex -El Paso and the Creperie La Bretonne plus a palapa restaurant beachfront for snacks. A taste of many cuisines!

The Catalonia consists of 711 air-conditioned Junior Suites in 31 separate villas surrounded by tropical vegetation and a warm atmosphere. In the center of the property there is a spectacular poolarea with islands, fountains and jacuzzis.
This resort features four a la carte restaurants, two buffet restaurants, a poolside grill, five bars, ice cream shop, nightly entertainment, a children`s activity center, a casino, and a brand new 18-hole golf course.
The Catalonia Bavaro is situated on a full kilometer of beautiful white sandy beach strewn with swaying palm trees. Enclosed within a sheltered bay, the crystal clear waters just off the beachfront are ideal for watersport activities.
